The Site is located on land at Greenfields Farm, Thorney Edge Road, Bagnall, Staffordshire, ST9 9LA

 

The Site is approximately 700 metres to the north of Werrington and approximately 2.7 kilometres to the east of Stoke-on-Trent. The surrounding area is comprised of agricultural land separated by hedgerows and tree planting, and used for both grazing and arable purposes. The Cellarhead National Grid Substation is located approximately 400 metres to the northeast of the BESS.
